Force of Nature can be used on all surfaces, including granite, marble, quartz, porcelain, ceramic, wood, laminate, stainless steel, plastic and more, without harming it.

What is the shelf life of the activator capsules?

The activator capsules last 2 years. Force of Nature had a printing error on some of their capsules, so if yours say November 2016, the actual expiration date is November 2017.

Can I mix my own salt and vinegar solution to use with Force of Nature?

No. Each Force of Nature Activator capsule contains a ratio of salt, water & vinegar that is so precise it requires measuring instruments a consumer typically wouldn’t have at home. Without exactly the right pH, you could end up with a solution that is mostly bleach.

Does Force of Nature have a scent?

Force of Nature has a light, clean scent that is naturally created when salt, water & vinegar are electrolyzed. There are zero added fragrances so Force of Nature is safe around children and family members with asthma and allergies.

Can I add my own fragrance to Force of Nature?

The Maker does not recommend adding any fragrance oils to the Force of Nature solution because it can break down the cleaning ingredient (sodium hydroxide) and make it less effective.

The error (ERR) message appeared on my unit

Wait 10 seconds and then press the Start button twice at the top of the activator base, and release. If nothing happens after pressing the Start button, unplug the base, wait 20 seconds, then plug the base back in again, and ensure that the activator bottle is correctly placed on the metal contacts on the base. Press the Start button again.
