The item I am looking for is out of stock.

When we go out of stock and are unsure when a particular item will become available again, the item on the drop-down menu will be marked as Out of Stock. In these cases, we recommend checking back in 1-2 weeks.

You can also click the “Notify When Available” button under the blue Out of Stock notification, and you will be sent an email as soon as that item is available again. (You must sign up for a free Grommet shopping account to use this feature.) Please note: This feature is only available when all sizes, styles, or colors of an item are out of stock. 

If we are out of stock on an item and we do know when we will receive more, it will still appear in the drop down, but there will be messaging indicating delayed processing while we await more stock.
